Was lucky to see 8 or 10(including this one)and have probably listened to every one of the 54 so many roads we have and this one maybe not the best in a technical sense but there is that one moment where Jerry's soul seems to explode. He wasn't just singing lines to a song he felt it.

Why is should have stopped in 1990
This is a prime example of one of the WORS shows I ever attended, and I saw a whole bunch.
I am from Pittsburgh, which was always a rockin place to see the Grateful Dead.
After epic shows over the years at the Civic Arena, the Stanley Theater, and Three River Stadium (Made into a View from the Vault), it had been two years since the band's return to the Burgh. Anticipation was thick in the air, but the band really performed awefully.
The Help>Slip>Franklins is truely aweful. I don't care how much they recovered at the end of Franklin's. The years following Brent's death really exemplify the band's "addiction to affluence," as Phil decribes it best. Propping up Jerry in front of a shed full of 30,000 people, just to keep the machine going was just plain wrong. The performance is wroght with mistakes on this lackluster performance.
For those of you who gave this a five star review....smoke another.

best of times, worst of times
Garcia is downright pathetic in the early going - the Slipknot 'riffs' are really embarassing, as is the transition into Franklin's. But lo and behold he does get it going toward the end of Franklin's.
I've always thought this So Many Roads was amazing - once you get past all the blown verses. . .

Pretty good - not great.
Great sound - that's no problem with any 90s soundboards, as far as I've heard. I read a review from someone on deadlists that this show was not too much longer before Jerry went into rehab, and certainly before his late 92, early 93 energized return. He is a little bit off on timing, especially early in the show.
And I like Vince Welnick and all, but would it have killed him to pick one tone on his keyboard for a whole song... it gets distracting when he's alternating 4-5 different tones in a song. I'm nitpicking though. A good all-around show - Phil, Bobby and the drummers are spot on all around.

great run of shows
6/14 thru 6/23 1992- these would make a great "road trip" and im sure they did for some folks in june of 92! These shows are well played and sound great-thanks charlie and everyone else involved in bringing these to the ark.
these are probably close to 5 star shows for 92 but only 4 stars for the big picture (60s,70s,80s) -very enjoyable sets and jer's guitar is up in the mix for these shows, although they are well balanced recordings-get em!!!!
